Timing Method: Time chip will be used for running record. Time chip can be kept by participants after the race.
( Personal time chip does not comply with the Race’s timing system )

Hand straps at checkpoints

Participants will be offered a coloured hand strap at each of the following checkpoints:
2KM runners - 1 strap (Location: The Big Buddha)
6KM runners - 3 strap (Location: Watch platform at Nei Lak Shan Country Trail, Po Ngong Drive, The Big Buddha)
8KM runners - 3 strap (Location: Watch platform at Nei Lak Shan Country Trail, Nei Lak Shan Country Trail nearby unique angle station, Tung Shan Gate(by time chip), The Big Buddha)

- Any finishers who are not able to wear the hand strap will not be recognized their timing and ranking and no medal will be offered.
- Participants of Family Group have to collect 2 sets of hand strap.

Prizes & Souvenirs

- All participants will be given a memento T-Shirt, towel and other souvenirs.
- First finisher in each race distance will be awarded the championship trophy and prizes. (PO LIN CUP for 2 KM race / CHI WAI CUP for 6 KM race /
JING YIN CUP for 8 KM race)
- 1st to 10th winners in each category will be awarded trophies or medals.
- Free vegetarian lunch will be served to 1st to 10th winners in each category.
- 50% discount on vegetarian lunch fare for all participants.
- Participant who completes the race within the designated time will be awarded a Completion medal and Certificate of Completion.
- The certificate will be mailed to participants within two months after the race.
- All prizes and winners are based on official timing.

8KM participant
Departure:Chartered buses will leave from Tung Chung bus terminal from 7:00am
Return:Ngong Ping 360 to Tung Chung or New Lantao Bus to Tung Chung / Tai O / Mui Wo

6KM participant
Departure: Chartered bus will leave from Tung Chung bus terminal from 7:00am
Return:Ngong Ping 360 to Tung Chung or New Lantao Bus to Tung Chung / Tai O / Mui Wo

2KM participant
Departure: Chartered bus will leave from Tung Chung bus terminal from 7:00am or Ngong Ping360 at Tung Chung Station from 8:15am
Return:Ngong Ping 360 to Tung Chung or New Lantao Bus to Tung Chung / Tai O / Mui Wo

- Traffic fare is included in application fee.
- All participants should choose returned (both ways) traffic arrangements during the registration.
- The organizer reserves the rights to confirm final traffic arrangement.
- Accompany members need to register their traffic arrangement on Race Pack Collection Day. (20% discount on Ngong Ping 360 tickets for accompany members on race date)

- Should a representative is collecting the race pack on participant’s behalf, an authorization letter by participant and his/her copied ID are required upon collection.

Important Notes

- Participants should ensure they are physically fit to participate in these races.
- Experienced trail runners are preferred for 8KM participants.
- Participants should complete the designated routes.
- All categories’ qualifications are based on the year of birth. The participants quota of each category is at the discretion of organizer without any dispute.
- The prizes will only be awarded to each category which is at least with 3 participants / teams.
- Each participant can only take part in one category.
- For Family teams, they must pass the finishing line together, or the ranking will be based on arrival time of the last teammate.
- There will be no registration counter and race pack distribution service during the race date.
- The fee is non-refundable and non-transferable once an application is accepted. Category change is not allowed.
- Any enquiry of donation, please contact the monastery directly for more details.
- The number bib should be pinned at the front of the running vest at visible angle.
- Transfer of number bib as well as substitution are prohibited. Violation will result in disqualification.
- Organizer cannot guarantee participant’s choices of T-shirt sizes and while stock last.
- Luggage storage service will be provided.
- Do not bring along valuables. The Organizer will not be responsible for any damage and loss of properties of participants.
- All the prizes and souvenirs cannot be redeemed for cash.
- Photo taking on the track is prohibited due to bumpy and narrow trails.
- Participants should be responsible for their own insurance coverage.
- The participant will be disqualified if he/she fails to show up at the assigned time. The returned traffic arrangement will be cancelled as well.
- All the traffic registration of accompany members must be completed on race pack collection day.
- Tung Chung Road and South Lantau Road of Lantau are prohibited zone,. Valid permit is required for motorists who drive into South Lantau.
- The Organizer reserves the right on all photos and video of this event for future uses and references.
- Should there be any disputes, the event umpire 's decision is final and conclusive. No appeal will be entertained.
- The race will be cancelled if the Red/Black Rainstorm Signal, Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 3 or above is hoisted 8 hours before the event.
- The Organizer reserves the final right to the changes and interpretation of events regulations.
- Any changes or contingent measures for the event announced by the Organizer and posted on the Po Lin Monastery web page shall prevail. In the case of information changes of the event, the information posted on Po Lin Monastery webpage by organizer shall prevail.
